I'm trying to make my own smoked bacon! I expect to be smoking it this weekend after 7-8 days of curing! Has anyone else tried this? How did it turn out?

Cure ingredients used to make the cure past seen in the forefront. Brown sugar kosher salt, maple syrup, and curing salt+ pork belly

After a few days, we massage the pork belly and curing liquid to ensure even distribution

One of the wild things about technology. I was Playing Final Fantasy 7 remake on the plane home from my tablet using WestJet's complimentary in house wifi (no more supplied in flight entertainment!). Xbox cloud gaming, once it stabilized, was actually pretty impressive! #xbox #xcloud #fromaplane

The cowardly act that took place at Tk'emlúps te Secwépemc yesterday is abhorrent. It has no place in this country. My thoughts are with everyone who is shaken and hurt by this disgusting display of hate.

This week, we will mark the National Day for Truth and Reconciliation. It is a stark reminder of our shared responsibility to confront the devastating legacy of the residential school system and the consequences still felt today. 😂😂😂 The winters can be rough, but we get through them. We get a lot of Australians and New Zealanders in our mountain resorts for summer and for winter ski seasons. As harsh as our winters can be, our summers can be amazing (until the forest fires start...yay climate change..)
