Fellow artists, I need help This year I started digital art and while I think it’s really improved my stuff, I want more improvement still. I’d like it if anyone left a comment here telling me how I could improve my art or grow my presence on BlueSky in 2026! #artsky #digitalart #artist #artmoots

Here’s day 11 of #smaugust, featuring the Swampfarer, a frog whale hybrid dragon. I had an odd idea for this that I hope came across well enough. Lore in replies as always ^^ #monsterdesign #creaturedesign #characterdesign #monsterart #artsky #oc #ocart #myart #dragons #august #swamp

The first boss emerges, at the borders between sea and swamp, a beast of salt and freshwater! Based on the primordial Mesopotamian #mythology gods! Took me a while, but here’s day 10 of #smaugust! I’ll catch up later. #dragons #ocart #oc #myart #creatureart #monsterdesign #characterdesign #monster

The two-headed dragon of saltwater and freshwater, Masab. Its right head side is brown with a frothy set of brows and beard, sporting a large lily crown. Its left, cyan side sports sharp horns, a mouth of sharp fangs, and a crown of a smaller lily. In the middle of its body is a large red eye.

Day 2 of #smaugust, here is a hog/pig dragon! Lore in replies ^^ This critter was designed as a sort of living emblem of hog farms, like a Kaiju sorta. Was pretty challenging to figure out a draconic design but I think I got it! #characterdesign #creaturedesign #creatureart #ocart #august #dragons

Call ☎️ (202) 224-3121 and say something like this “Hi, I’m calling to ask Senator [NAME] to vote NO on the nomination of Emil Bove to the 3rd Circuit Court of Appeals. He’s shown he doesn’t respect court orders, and that disqualifies him from being a judge. Thank you.”

The “Epstein list isn’t real” crowd is hiding behind child safety to justify government surveillance, attacking your privacy, and punishing you for your free speech. Again. Call your reps, tell them to kill the bill, we’ve killed it before and we can do it again

It's called autogenocide, the goal is to coerce a population into killing themselves and/ or die by design. When MAGA and Trump strip people of their healthcare or safety nets, they aren't thinking about saving money they're thinking about how many of us they can exterminate. #3E #EndAutogenocide

The saying “characters are vehicles for your story” could be taken further: • Characters are the vehicles • Stories are the cities your characters traverse • Lore/world is a country within your writing, where stories are made in #writingsky #fiction #worldbuilding

Artist propaganda I’m not falling for (and you shouldn’t either):

ARTIST PROPAGANDA I'M NOT FALLING FOR:
X Pulling
all-nighters to make art proves you’re dedicated to your craft
X True artists draw every single day
X Only make friends with fellow artists cuz they’ll get you gigs someday
X Freelancing is for artists who can't get a "real" studio job
X Drawing fanart is cringe
X Your portfolio should only have what studios want to see

I feel I need someone to directly explain how Color Theory should be applied in a drawing. I don't mean the theoretical part (Color Harmonies, Saturations and Value), but rather practical use of it. As most youtube tutorials that exist are just this:
