It is very, very clear which side is winning.

The best thing about this anecdote is it seems 100% feasible rather than some shit on the internet posted for clicks.

Shigeru Miyamoto posted pictures on social media of himself visiting Harris Heating in Bradford. It feels very Mario travelling down a green pipe.

The Remain campaign was absolutely fucking hopeless, let's face it. Blaming Russia is a shit way of trying to mask that fact.

The Smeds and the Smoods is about Brexit (also one of Donaldson and Scheffler's worst books).

I see that book as an illustration of Fox's drinking problem and shows the fallout of him going on a massive bender.

Great thread. While it wasn't an account, adaptations of that fucking plums poem were never ever funny. And have sadly migrated over here.

Eoin Clarke? Absolutely rabid Labour supporter (despite being from NI), support for factions jumped all over the place (I think he was a Corbynite *and* Starmer fan), blocked at the drop of the hat. A textbook 'how do you fit your actual day job around tweeting thousands of times per day?' type.

Hard to devise a better metaphor for the past decade and a half of Premier League football than Man City winning while playing with an extra man.

I do think Once Upon A Time in NI should be mandatory viewing as part of a compulsory history class in secondary school. It's living memory and it's not just "the Brits were terrible"; there's just so much to it. (Biased because I'm from NI but the ignorance about *part of the UK* is crazy)

Coincidentally there are six characters from the old X-Men movies in this (plus Channing Tatum). So it's a real headscratcher working out who's going to die.

No, because self-flagellating, guilt ridden Traitor Acaster will make for hugely entertaining viewing. Whereas more Rajan...won't.

A lack of understanding continuity is the core of X-Men comics. You can't get any more faithful to the source material than that.
