Our members who clean and cater St Georges Hospital in Tooting are sick and tired of not getting paid properly and not being respected by their employer, Mitie. So this lunchtime they staged a demonstration outside the hospital entrance. Our members won't give up until some serious change is made!

Hundreds of TAs protested Merton Council's meeting last night. They're paid an average of £1400 less London Weighting allowance than their teacher colleagues. A petition of more than 600 signatures was submitted before the meeting - now it's over to them to do the right thing.
