Known as Atlas, these tools reportedly use hundreds of data sets including, chillingly, comments scraped from external forums like Reddit. We've written to Government to demand urgent answers from Amazon on its use of similar systems here in the UK.

Amazon must come clean. Just weeks before new workers' rights come into force, reports have shown that @amazonuk is reportedly using AI-fuelled surveillance tools to predict where workers will unionise in Canada.

The theme for Black History Month is Honouring Our Communities. As a union, that's something we take seriously. Our strength has always come from the people who show up for each other, at work and beyond it.

It’s International Equal Pay Day - and employers should know that we will not stop fighting - and winning - equal pay battles right across our region. Pay equality strengthens us all. #equalpayday

Tram Drivers. Ticket office staff. Maintenance teams. They've had enough. Strike action confirmed: Saturday 26 September through Goose Fair week. The door's always open: But tram bosses are fast running out of track. Our members deserve respect.

🧱 500million bricks laying unused in yards. 🧱 Enough to build 50,000 homes. 🧱 But without spades in the ground, jobs are at risk. 📣 Watch and hear from Lewis, GMB rep in the brick industry.

Better pay, safer workplaces, more family-friendly conditions - this is what union recognition brings. But weak enforcement on union access rights stops progress. We will not let US-style union-busting take root in the UK. @antoniabance.bsky.social

🌍 Carbon capture and the Peak Cluster gives the UK an opportunity to be a world leader in green cement - creating and securing working class jobs. Offshoring the carbon emissions of cement production to other countries is bad for the environment and bad for jobs.
000
GMB Midlands @gmbmidlands.bsky.social · 15/07/2026
Workers are clear - it's time to save our cement. Remember: we import over 1/3 of the cement we use from countries like Algeria, Turkey, Ireland and Spain - this was just 10% a few decades ago. 🏠 There is no house-building revolution without a secure and green domestic cement industry.

GMB Midlands @gmbmidlands.bsky.social · 15/07/2026
Conservative MP Esther McVey has forced a debate in Parliament today on the future of our cement industry. The problem? 🤔 The debate misses the fact tens of thousands of jobs rely on UK cement and aggregates.

Amazon must temporarily close their Coventry warehouse after a TB outbreak. Preventing a major outbreak is more important than Amazon's profit margins. Workers must be put onto full sick pay.
