Reduce welfare costs by increasing council funding. Councils can employ people, or spend money that goes to local business in their local areas, doing what needs doing in local areas. It's not coincidence we've seen massive drops since council funding was cut after the banking crash.

Apartheid South Africa collapsed due to international boycotts. They ran out of basic supplies for farming, for Power production, to keep vehicles running. Israel is far more dependent on Imports than South Africa ever was. The International community could boycott and stop Israel easily.

The most disconcerting thing about Reform IMO, is that a quarter of the UK support it. Maybe just easily fooled, and maybe outright racist hateful bigots, but between 20 - 25% of the current population support the hate politics Reform are pushing. We need to address that somehow.

If England water companies had not been privatised: £88.4bn dividend to shareholders would not have been paid. Billions more through intragroup transactions would not have been extracted. Borrowing cost would have been much lower. In public ownership, billions would have gone to infrastructure.
