“But no! Why did my mind suggest such things?” Achilles vs. Hector - #Iliad Book 22 Tfw one of the last things you vividly think about before dying and desecration is This #greekmythology #homer #comics

Hector narration imagining a surrender to an aggressive armored Achilles: I cannot face him as a supplicant. He will kill me unarmed, just like a woman if I set down my weapons on the ground.

I think there is no way from oak or rock to chat with him as girl and boy might do.

hector and a girl achilles in mycenaean dress sitting surrounded by trees in a friendly amorous conversation

Continued from before, Girl Achilles and Hector laugh and touch hands.

Narration: A girl and boy who chat and flirt togegher.

Back to the battle in front of the wall of Troy as Achilles approaches Hector in the looted armor.

Narration: better to start the conflict right away, and we will soon see which of us is granted success by the Olympian, Lord Zeus.

Close up profiles of both Achilles’ bloodied face and fierce expression and Hector’s wary look.
