Kaneda’s bike from Akira, but fused with the Gundam RX-93. This might be my favourite piece that I have made, as it fuses the movie which was such an inspiration for me, with my current obsession. Both carrying an incredible legacy.

I decided to put a rainbow in the back and use the trans flag colors more heavily here, to emphasise the balance and fluidity between genders, as also in the traditional card, the character is seen as being without any gender or both.

This is an interpretation of the tarot card Natural Balance, which commonly depicts a person in the same scenario, which is neither man nor woman. Or perhaps both. Androgynous and gender bending symbolism has always been present in the tarot.
