I'm logging off here for the rest of 2026. I've achieved my goal of watching no wrestling in 2026, save for last Wednesday, but I'm still half engaging with the news and jokes and shits+giggles. My timeline just never properly adjusted to the switch, and I'd like to start 2027 with a fresher head.

It sucks if you weren't around at the time, either in person or part of select corners of the IWC, but I cannot stress enough how incredible PAC's initial go through PWG was. For 11 months, from 06 to 07, he had an amazing selection of matches with some of the absolute very best. An all-timer run.

my little pac story was at a dguk meet and greet. i wanted to tell masato yoshino that he was my favourite wrestler and pac offered to translate. he turns to yoshino and in broken english shouts “YOU. HIM. FAVOURITE WRESTLER” and yoshino is very appreciative and shakes my hand.

What I love about this photo is PAC wearing sliders with his full gear. You can just tell, as if the past 20+ years of testimonial wasn't enough, as well as all the tributes pouring out, you can just tell by a detail like that, how much of a good soul he was. One of the true good ones.

I first saw PAC live in 2007 at the Irish Centre in Birmingham, a super tiny venue. He did a flip off the 2nd rope, his foot caught the ceiling & brought down all the Irish flag bunting. He still did a shooting star press & triangle moonsault, he was not put off at all. I was a mega fan after that.

I think I'm going to get a Retroid Pocket 6 or a Retroid Nova. The mix of the Anerbic SP & a GameSir controller is too fiddly & limiting. I was going to grab the Flip 2 on sale but apparently Retroid is just flogging the old stock with the faulty hinge (guilty until proven otherwise for that money).

Ah yes, I have great memories of Doc Hendrix in 1996 on the Free-For-All urging me to purchase that night's "PLE".

A YouTube thumbnail for a WWE Vault comp that has every 1996 "PLE" main event. Vader is squishing Shawn Michaels in the thumbnail (ouch), and Shawn's selling is likely legit as Vader infamously never washed his mask (or even his gear, probably).

In EWR today, I booked the Bucks to lose to PAC & Yuta. The Bucks were all "We wont lose or go to a draw, they're below us!" but I said FUCK OFF LADS & booked it.
