New mixed-media! My first canvas, it measures 2.5' x 2.5'. It was my first time using the Ken Oliver Colorburst watercolour powders. What do y'all think? #catlovers #catart #canvas #mixedmedia

Thank-you. I nearly lost him 2 years ago when I was trying to integrate my F3 Bengal, General Toot with them and Castillo developed a stress infection that resulted in a blockage. We had to do surgery and if it hadn't been for a friend in Canada I've never met, I couldn't have afforded to help him.

My Lieutenant Castillo was rescued from the parking lot of my on-campus apartment. The RA helped me get him! He'd never lived inside, so even ambient noise scared him. He began using the box once living inside, but if it has more than 1 "go" in it, he plots beside it and refuses to use it.

The necropsy revealed nothing but red nodes, but nothing definitive. I'd only had him 4-1/2 years. We tried to reverse it since you can do that in males, but that didn't work, and he passed before we got to insulin. I would have done anything for him, and still will for my others. He was my heart. 💔

My #wip. "Peeking Through Winter" My 1st time working with interference colours, produced when light waves interact. This is what produces the pink and blue hues you sometimes find in clear glass. It's also the #physics behind soap bubbles. #art #artist #coloredpencil
