I like seeing the argument "without AI these ports would not exist" and here's my actual response: I actually would rather not see them exist for an extremely simple reason: They're absolutely USELESS. And I would say that emulation has always allowed similar improvements the entire time.

CSP v1 can still be used if you got it even if you have a newer "rolling up" license, which is one of the things I criticize (Vegas Pro upgs gave you an upg discount and still kept the even older version), but with disc'd new CSP PRO licenses being like, 10 USD more than v1 new license sales, cmon

hey. while I appreciate lambasting Celsys for the decision to have a very convoluted upward upgrade process, it is very much the "yearly subscription with permanent old version license", as these majors are released yearly, even unlike older Vegas Pro's versions or Adobe CS
