If Shayy actually cared about doing/being better, they would not have come back. That's really all I have to say on the matter.

The correct decision for the Israel v Ireland game is that Israel should be banned from UEFA. We don't want War Criminals, ALL the countries need to get together and ban Israel from even entering their countries, then Israel won't be able to get to the game and THEY will forfeit.

Paper Machê Dream Balloon - King Gizzard & The Lizard Wizard

petah @glepfl.bsky.social · 10/09/2026

Album I think is underrated: Just A Poke - Sweet Smoke An album made up of two 16 minute jazz/psychedelic rock tracks that REALLY gets addicting to listen to after a while, personally think this is one of the crowning jewels of the late 60s jam band movement despite it's lower recognition.

EP I rate a 10: Q: From Where Do Our Primal Instincts Originate? A: MTV! - Portraits Of Tracy One of my favourite projects to come out of this year so far, love how diverse it gets while still staying extremely consistent as it crosses through hardcore, new wave, psychedelic soul and indietronica.

petah @glepfl.bsky.social · 10/09/2026

Album I think is mediocre: Dopesmoker - Sleep A cool feat on paper to be playing consistently for over an hour, but got very tedious very quickly for me during listening and found it to be extremely repetitive and not really building on itself in comparison to other drone metal projects I've heard.

petah @glepfl.bsky.social · 10/09/2026

Album that was almost a 10 but not quite: "plays standards" - Ground-Zero Love how aggressive and chaotic it can get while still staying really enjoyable, but ever so slightly falls in consistency around the middle of the album for it to stop myself from calling this a perfect album.

petah @glepfl.bsky.social · 10/09/2026

Album I rate low that most people do: Wedding Album - John & Yoko Once again pretty self explanatory, unless you enjoy 20 minutes of the couple yelling each others name and then another 20 minutes of really nonsensical field recordings then it's a really rough listen.

100

petah @glepfl.bsky.social · 10/09/2026

Album I rate low that most people don't: Lodger - David Bowie Compared to his other albums this one just sounds a bit lifeless and dull to me. Wouldn't go as far to say it's a 1 since Fantastic Voyage is a pretty solid track, but not something I'd want to come back to.

petah @glepfl.bsky.social · 10/09/2026

Album I rate a 10 that most people do: Wish You Were Here - Pink Floyd Pretty self explanatory here, constantly gets brought up in discussions for the greatest album of all time and I fully get why.

100

petah @glepfl.bsky.social · 10/09/2026

Album I rate a 10 that most people don't: The Ascension - Sufjan Stevens Love the mixing of ambient electronic on here paired with Sufjan's lush vocals, some people call this album boring with its tracks but personally I really like the lyrical dissonance mixed with those almost anxious lyrics.

these guys have genuinely reignited such a big spark of life into me with their music, listened to this and 77' Live and I'm honestly quite shocked they don't have nearly as much recognition as they do. If you like Velvet Underground with the volume whacked up to maximum, this is the band for you :)

This is how you know conservatives don't really care about women's sports.

If you really care about female athletes, you'd go after cisgender male coaches and physicians who prey on them. Transgender women are not a threat.

It's amazing how every time I have the intent to, or gear up to do something (in this case; stream more after I'm in my new place), something invariably happens thar not only makes me not to do it, but makes everything worse for everyone else.

All the people who are anti-Wii U or want to slow Wii U progress, we have one question: if the Wii U disappeared tomorrow, could you still get through a work day without Ultra Smash, Amiibo Festival, or any other Wii U title? Imagine the Wii U was suddenly banned. Would you actually give it up?
