Reader @gleonsluggsworth.bsky.social · 07/10/2026Trump has done irreparable harm to the office of the President of the United States. He has used it, degraded, and disrespected it. The office of President used to have some honor to it. This is a freak show. 000

Reader @gleonsluggsworth.bsky.social · 02/10/2026there is NO excuse for that I worked at a place where reviews (& pay raises) were linked to how many people you signed up. I'm guessing Ulta does this. I know Lowe's does. At my place, they would compare the "opportunities" you had to enlist someone, and your percentage of sign-ups. Just terrible. 000
Reader @gleonsluggsworth.bsky.social · 02/10/2026Or is it, "How can I make my life better, and I don't care AT ALL about anyone or anything else"? Like, extreme narcissism? Otherwise, we have to believe that 50% of people in the US are just pure evil, and that's a rough way for you and me to move through life... It's harder on us than them... 000

She frustrates me She was not outspoken enough when ICE came to her state She has not pushed back enough on Drumpf She is in a senior position in gov't and has coasted, not led She'll probably get elected gov in MN bc of name recognition, but I wish someone else had stepped up 000

They are running commercials that don’t even mention the amendment will ban abortion… because they know we already gave women the constitutional right to abortion. VOTE NO ON AMENDMENT 3. 231008354
Reader @gleonsluggsworth.bsky.social · 27/09/2026That’s the wrong question, at least right now. The question for the moment we are in rn, given what AI is rn, is “Do you think humans can be trusted?“ Because rn, AI is a tool for humans to use. Do we trust humans to use this tool appropriately? 110
Reader @gleonsluggsworth.bsky.social · 27/09/2026What’s happening is that AI is being given instructions to do a task, and the human who is assigning the task is “taking off the guardrails.” AI can‘t think for itself, but it can engage in very bad behavior when there are no restrictions. Thus, humans with bad intent could use AI to do bad things. 2210

Reader @gleonsluggsworth.bsky.social · 22/09/2026It’s the same for theater kids. Reader @gleonsluggsworth.bsky.social · 22/09/2026He's an idiot, but here's a very simple fix, which I would applaud: judge the books with author names redacted. Quality will out. I checked the rules for the National Book Award and right now, they don't redact. Easy fix, and it would SHUT HIM UP 660

Reader @gleonsluggsworth.bsky.social · 16/09/2026I’m so glad WSJ is on the case! Good. But, since I’m sure that EVERY SINGLE senator is doing the EXACT SAME THING, why are they focusing on her, when gender has NOTHING to do with it? Reader @gleonsluggsworth.bsky.social · 16/09/2026this I love Aaron Sorkin, but he's not a comedy writer. And he (& the casting team) cast Studio 60 with ACTORS, not comedians, so they got no help there. In his shows, the humor is either low-brow (pratfalls), or comes from having intelligent people display / confess awkwardness. That's not jokes. 010

Reader @gleonsluggsworth.bsky.social · 09/09/2026Sorry, but to disagree with the statement that “insurance companies strive to eliminate risk“ is to fly in the face of reality.
