My hands were mostly too shaky to paint much but I did some touch up work on this ganger model. Needs a bit more on her face and arm but nearly done. Model from Unit 9. #miniaturepainting #nerdlings #unit9

A model of a cyberpunk ganger with blue mechanical legs and hands wearing red clothing. Model from Unit 9.

Name your fav non-English speaking film. For me if only left to one I would have to go with the Seven Samurai, every actor in the movie nails their part in a great story.

A value check of the model as I was working.

My model after three hours of work. Very rough still, but the basics are there with yellow skin and a blue hood.

5. Frieren (Season Two) - Frieren season two was excellent. The art seemed less polished most of the season, but a couple of episodes near the end were back to standard. The story was most a lead up to the next major arc, but still great.

The poster for Frieren season two. It features Freiren, Fern and Stark the heroes of the show, with Frieren floating and Fern flying carrying Stark. They seem to be fly/floating in a place they could not be using magic, but that is the magic of a poster isn't it.

4. Witch Hat Atelier - another manga adapted as a series. Visually fantastic in the best ways with what looks like it will be a more complex storyline than most manga like this. I dig it so far. I highly recommend the manga as well.

Coco, the young protagonist of the story jumping forward wearing the witch's apprentice hat and jacket. The Atelier is in the background, I had to look up what the heck an atelier is, in this case it is a small school house for witches.

3. The Ghost In The Shell (2026) - a new anime series trying to adapt the manga more closely than the movies did. Only one episode, but I dug it. Been a fan forever.

The hero of the show looking out from a poster detailing its premier on Amazon Prime. A wire sparks behind her so you don't forget this is cyberpunk. Plus semi matrixy lines on the left side.

2. Hail Mary - Late to this but enjoyed it. It is pretty and has good heart. Being 'serious sci-fi' does make the stupid stuff stand out more, but still fun.

The movie poster for Hail Mary. It features Ryan Gosling in a space suit without a helmet super imposed over a photo of the sun with the earth in the background. Or maybe it's another planet in the background. It's a planet, I am pretty sure of that.

Ok, I always prefer what I liked posts to what I hate posts so here are five things I watched recently I thought were fun. 1. Supergirl - I dug it, but I can see why some didn't. The comic's story was better.

The cover of one of the editions of Supergirl, Woman of Tomorrow. Supergirl is standing in space with her cape flowing in the space winds I guess. Still a fun comic and a great story.
