Greg Bryson @glbryson.bsky.social · 31/07/2026A biking route app I use now has a feature that identifies active wildfires, air quality, and wind direction. But do tell me more about how climate change is a hoax. 010

Greg Bryson @glbryson.bsky.social · 12/07/2026Unsure if this is good or bad news given that this was reposted by @rnaguru.bsky.social, the guy who analyzes Ottawa’s wastewater for COVID, influenza, monkeypox, etc. 100

Greg Bryson @glbryson.bsky.social · 02/07/2026That “reducing the 10-30% mortality associated with critical care admission” didn’t make the top-10 sounds a lot like Wald’s plane. 020
Greg Bryson @glbryson.bsky.social · 12/06/2026In Ottawa Hospital-affiliated sites (care team model) patients get sedation. Not much. But some. From our experience, selection bias works the other way. Sicker patients done in hospitals with anesthesia providers. Can’t speak for the rest of the province. Covariate adjustment detailed below. 110

Controls for nitrous oxide and air were not only different shapes but they were recessed relative to 02. All colour-coded, although US and ISO coding systems vary. Greg Bryson @glbryson.bsky.social · 06/12/2025I associated our overdosing of rocuronium to the "aerosol preventing" intubations of the COVID era. In Boston, it seems it was sugammadex. Just for fun, ask a trainee or colleague for the ED95 of roc. journals.lww.com/anesthesiolo... 160

Greg Bryson @glbryson.bsky.social · 02/07/2025 I'll be 60 in a few weeks and it's not worth retraining at this point. I'm fortunate that I no longer take call and am in a group big and collegial enough to hand off cases outside my diminished skill set. But I'm not-so-quietly pissed off at what my work environment has done to my skills. 130
