I do get why they don't have a dedicated team for pre-World style MH cuz that's a lot of time and development resources for an arguably archaic style that probably won't sell as well as the big budget gimmick-based games. At risk of falling into the "sequel to World" argument, I think the main selling point was being World but more. Huge, multileveled environments? Now they're even bigger and persistently change. Three large monsters on one map that can all interact with each other? Now there's like eight of them

My big one is a lot of returning monsters that haven't shown up in a while. Yeah, Zinogre, Nargacuga, Rajang etc are cool, but I wanna see stuff like Duramboros, Monoblos, and Agnaktor
