Virtually all crypto are schemes to enrich the creators or scams, and virtually all crypto does not require mining. Only Bitcoin really requires mining. The point made here is that instead of wasting a ton of hydro energy, Bhutan transformed it into capital I.e. Bitcoin mining saves wasted energy

Bhutan has accumulated more than $1 billion worth of Bitcoin on the back of using its previously stranded hydropower resources to mine BTC How do folks here feel about that? Do we have another technology that can convert wasted/stranded energy in remote places into global liquid capital?

Average fee is misleading. It’s 25 to 40 cents to send an on-chain transaction (of any amount) within a few hours today, giving anyone true private property. For small cheap private amounts I’d suggest ecash. It’s awesome. None of this requires KYC or permission from anyone. None of it is gatekept.
