Maybe acknowledging the existence and purpose of blinds/curtains gives it away here. Do cinema screens have windows inside them letting in bright exterior light? I remember closing the curtains back in the days of CRTs. Flooding your room with daylight when watching TV is a solved problem already

Thanks Google Maps for automatically highlighting a station I rarely use in an area I don't go to much, marking it as so prominent on my Google Maps as to be a default pin visible alongside the two largest museums in London, which I also don't visit. Great feature 10/10

According to ONS, ~5% of the British population are unemployed, and ~16% are retired. Given how much older demographics swing right, yeah maybe we should actually let them do this if it includes both 😂

That squeaky bean chorizo is so good! Their ready to eat BBQ chicken-style pieces and smoked fake ham are banging too. For chicken to cook with i'd recommend the Richmond chargrilled pieces, they fry up really nicely with a bit more firmness and texture than quorn

I truly believe this is possible. The Green vote share in Walthamstow (previously a locked-in safe seat for Labour) exploded in 2024 despite the national desperation to get the Tories out. And that was *before* we actually saw the cruel, damaging policies of Starmer in action
