ATTENTION: NSF GRANT RECIPIENTS We received a heads up from a trusted source that you should proactively download/print/screen shot any documentation on research.gov pertaining to your NSF awards, both those that are current and any that have closed in the last 5-6 years. 1/n

Incoming comet post! Finally had some clear skies this evening and I got to play with my Seestar properly. Not done any post processing/playing around with these yet, just straight off the scope. I'm super super happy! 🔭

Feel like posting some space this morning. I LOVE imaging galaxy clusters. For some reason I completely forget *which* galaxy cluster this is (need more coffee) but I hope you like it. :) About six hours of integration time, imaged w/my RC and processed in PixInsight 🔭📷🛰
A cluster of three galaxies, showing tidal deformation as their gravity distorts their shapes. Two very bright stars are in the foreground right center, showing diffraction spikes from my RC scope

A brand new picture of the Ring Nebula, courtesy of JWST! 🔭🧪
This image of the Ring Nebula appears as a distorted doughnut. The nebula’s inner cavity hosts shades of blue and green, while the detailed ring transitions through shades of orange in the inner regions and pink in the outer region. The ring’s inner region has distinct filament elements. (copied from @spacetelescope on Twitter)

Hi! I’m a senior astrophysics major at Agnes Scott College interested in the ISM and star formation. I also usually knit a lot of different projects at once.
