Back at that time of day where, instead of relaxing after work, I have to randomly set things down hard on counters, open and close drawers/cabinets loudly just so Harper doesn’t panic over the falling bur oak acorn missiles hitting the house. 😬 #lifewithaneuroticdog

Fun update! While visiting my brother this weekend, he bought 7.7 acres of land out in the country and took us out there. I have never seen Harper so happy running and exploring with no restrictions! Rolling hills, old trees, open meadows and very private. We will be back!

Yes! I did Scarlett last Saturday. They used to get to go out so much but I live on a very busy street. They get to watch cars , hear birds and see people walking. I’m sitting out here with them. ❤️

Georgia is becoming so skinny, so I do understand. Savannah’s weight is about the same but Scarlett always looks hefty. They’ve all become less active so I do whatever I can to introduce new treats. Let me know if she likes the baby food

The issue with a lot of “remote” dog friendly cabins is the owner lives on the property and also has dogs or it’s in a compound with other cabins. You have to read all the fine print. My eyes are tired from searching but the hunt continues… Here’s Atticus at the farm we used to go to. Heaven.

I know. & all my search terms don’t filter correctly to find what I want. Used to have access to a 50 acre farm w/cabin, all hidden from road. It was so nice to open the door in the am& let dogs go explore w/out worrying about neighbors/other dogs. Important since Harper is dog reactive. Farm sold 😩

Putting this out into the universe. I’m wanting to take Harper for a weekend at a peaceful cabin within two hours of Nashville with lots of land and no nearby neighbors so she can run outdoors to her heart’s content. It’s proving difficult to find such a place. 😩
