Here are my 2 frames. I feel so lucky I got to participate twice! 1st frame was going great until I royally f*cked up the background and had to colour it in digitally. 2nd one I thought would be more difficult, instead I enjoyed it more, oil pastels in warm colour + Stede's chest = excellent! #ofmd

I've been reading Rhys Darby's book and it's exactly what I needed to deal with my september blues. It's silly and moving and I can hear his voice in his written words. He emanates optimism that feels naive and innocent at first, but is actually an intentional way to see the world under a good light

I loved The Other Bennet Sister, it fixed something in me I didn't even know it needed fixing. My only regret is that it took me too long to finish this portrait; the faces are okay, but the clothes look faded and too bright for the background, even though I spent ages trying to fix them. Oh, well.
