⋈ GitButler v0.22.0 is out with full support for native @github.com stacked PRs. It's the easiest way to get your Claude Code or Codex to fluently stack. Have multiple agent sessions operate on different parts of the stack in parallel, it 'just works' docs.gitbutler.com/ai-agents/ov...

the `but` TUI has a pro-state that lets you run any `but` command. to enter it, use the colon `:`. then type your command of choice. most of the operations are already natively in the TUI but this is helpful for some commands still

we did some pretty cool evals trying to determine how gb stacks up against Git and Jujutsu when being used by agents. while we assumed `but` would be better than Git since the CLI is optimized for that, I was surprised by JJ's benchmarks. blog.gitbutler.com/vcbench

⋈ gb 0.21.0 is out! The main new thing is that the app now supports the "push to main" workflow (skipping the PR). 🔨 Also, the TUI got a major performance bump when navigating huge diffs. 🏎️ And last but not least, there's an option to AI-resolve merge conflicts. 🤖 github.com/gitbutlerapp...

`undo` is one of the coolest commands in gitbutler. pretty much **any operation** can be undone. and yes, there is a `redo` and yes, you can run them multiple times

recently realised that we had ZERO docs on the GB tui - and it is a pretty neat tui if I may brag. it has a bunch of tricks that the desktop app doesn’t so here’s the first batch of GitButler TUI docs - docs.gitbutler.com/gitbutler-tui

mutation commands (e.g. `emend`, `move` etc) change the state, and the agent would have to get the updated "status". it's helpful to include the updated status together with the ack that mutation was completed (we have a `--status-after` flag)
