Thanks so much! I go between Qsnaps and hoops depending on how my hands feel or the size of the project. Your finish looks great! I just tried the running stitch finish but the gathers are too big and it won’t lay flat when I hang it on the wall. Might I be not trimming it short enough?

Photo of the back of a cross stitch project that is finished in an embroidery hoop. The excess fabric is gathered with a running stitch.

Photo of the same project from the front showing how it does not lay flat on the wall.

1/3 Saw this on r/conservative about how ‘leftists’ are conveniently ignoring the entire text of this quote. I knew that it isn’t the flex they think it is and the quote isn’t even correct. #empathy #sympathy #empathyvssympathy

A picture of Charlie Kirk with a quote of his saying that he prefers the word sympathy over empathy because empathy means you feel the other person’s pain and you can’t feel what other people feel.

Took a walk at Henry Cowell State Park and found the ever present Banana Slug and some lovely mushrooms. I believe that the orange ones are Pinewood Gingertail and the white are Miller’s Oysterling. Using the iSeek app so feel free to correct me! #mycology #fungi #santacruz #castateparks

With the plight of the world, I can only get my head out of it while crafting. First time with #visiblemending to stretch the life of my son’s work pants. #sewing #crafting. Turned out pretty good.
