...the @support account, explaining that I did great educational posts, got erroneously suspended, and that Twitter support should unsuspend my account, both so people know what happened and in case that helps with my appeal.

I was suspended on Twitter for, I think, replying to so many people about Apocalypto and linking my breakdown post about it 😅 Would appreciate it if those who feel comfortable doing so, still use Twitter, and have followers there who also follow me, tweeting out about this while also tagging...

Recently I read a comic named "kill six billion demons", and the artstyle really inspired me, so I drew Coyolxauhqui in a similar style. I'm gonna make this into a sticker :3

and, if you need some affirmation, I think the drawing you've posted conveys emotion very clearly, which is a very important thing about visual narrative :D

GisToons @gistoons.bsky.social · 14/03/2025

This has prevented me from the art of comics as well. However, I think that if you have a story that you genuinely love or want to share with the world, the artstyle won't matter as much as you think it will. I hope you get around to making what you want :3

the swamp of despair (from 2018)

A graph titled “The Creative Process” showing a cute pumpkin girl going through stages of making something. She starts out high up, “I just had the best idea!!!” and starts sliding down a hill “this isnt as simple as I expected.” She winds up in The Swamp of Despair (two skulls say: “this part sucks! don’t give up!”) She says, “this sucks, I suck. Why am I wasting my time.” She crawls her way out of the swamp “it’s not perfect but I’m going to finish” and crests the final hill, “it’s done??? I lived???” Finally, she walks away from it all, glittering with pride. “This turned out pretty good!”

I've been having a rough time figuring out the narrative I'm making with some mexica gods, so I made these little icons to help me visually organize them and their relationships

I was in a rush to finish this and it's my first time approaching a painting like this, and it shows. There are things I would do differently in the future for better results :)
