girsu @girsu.bsky.social · 05/09/2026today I have decided that my greed knows no bounds... gym ac was non-existant, I'm too hot and I really want an overpriced cold drink from tim hortons 010
girsu @girsu.bsky.social · 03/09/2026its cb time once more, but this time I have a lot more confidence in my anim skills 020
girsu @girsu.bsky.social · 01/09/202613:04 priv, honestly not bad considering I barely played last season, only 20sec short of my actual pb 010
girsu @girsu.bsky.social · 26/08/2026all the jp/kr mv creators on my twitter feed are shilling this newly released set of ae plugins so damn hard its making me even more skeptical about potentially buying it as a mb looks alternative 020
girsu @girsu.bsky.social · 20/08/2026I think I might actually hit my goal of 12 MV works this year (average of one per month) 000

girsu @girsu.bsky.social · 16/08/2026I love my "put everyone in a single file line" chorus composition slop yummy yummy (I have no creative juices to do otherwise right now) 010
girsu @girsu.bsky.social · 08/08/2026had to call an ambulance for a family member late last night time to do what I always do to cope and bury myself in work 🙃 000
girsu @girsu.bsky.social · 31/07/2026I've been feeling really out of it when it comes to MV work for the past month or so, just vapidly moving from project to project, video to video ;-; I really need to take a step back, re-think what I'm doing, what my goals are and make a proper improvement plan 110

girsu @girsu.bsky.social · 26/06/2026behold my usual rant of projects where art is not done and deadlines are approaching within 24 HOURS I'm not even talking about the final render, its line art. there's 3 people after you in the visual pipeline who's depending on YOUR SCHEDULE that all of a sudden HAS TO CRUNCH 100
girsu @girsu.bsky.social · 23/06/2026finished an mv that took so much out of me I feel so mentally exhausted matching the fast pacing of a high energy song is so hard I wouldn't even call it fully polished but like I cannot bring myself to work on it anymore 010

girsu @girsu.bsky.social · 12/06/2026I think I won't be accepting any more anim collabs for the remainder of this year got such a big backlog of projects to work on, a handful of them that started so long ago but I'm finally getting art and are approaching deadlines 000
girsu @girsu.bsky.social · 10/06/2026I stayed up late bingeing the insane ramblings of a deranged category theorist despite never taking a course on category theory sheafification of g on youtube would highly recommend if you have any background in upper undergrad-level math 100
girsu @girsu.bsky.social · 10/06/2026I want to get some experience with doing MVs focused on one person, everything I've done so far has been choruses/collabs, a few trios, one duo problem is that I feel like solo mvs are better off done by people doing comms for money 120
girsu @girsu.bsky.social · 06/06/2026how is the visual side of a project fully complete when audio only just finished timing I don't think I've ever finished a video before the mix even started lmfao 010
girsu @girsu.bsky.social · 05/06/2026I didn't think I'd get this attached to a content creator but in hindsight a lot of my love for yugioh came from watching progression series over the pandemic, it really breaks my heart knowing he's no longer with us rest in peace cimo 020
girsu @girsu.bsky.social · 01/06/2026I injured my finger pulley again ;-; this time was worse cause I felt pain running into my forearm as well and feels more severe than other times where I just overtrained my fingers forget climbing or hanging from a monkey bar, I can't even open my car door using that finger without pain D: 000
girsu @girsu.bsky.social · 30/05/2026at what time is it considered acceptable to start day drinking? I'm dealing with such a fucking mess right now idgaf if its only 2pm I'm gonna start drinking 100

girsu @girsu.bsky.social · 31/03/2026I want to build a proper catalog of mv and mograph references as opposed to my current process of scattering them across playlists and miro boards problem is that its very quickly looking like the only good, long-term, future-proof solution is to build my own custom web app for this... 100
girsu @girsu.bsky.social · 31/03/2026when I have more time this weekend I need to properly catalog all of my mv mv references instead of stuffing them all into one giant playlist and scattered across multiple miro boards per project 000

girsu @girsu.bsky.social · 21/03/2026bit of an emotional rant: sometimes I feel really really lonely on this path of learning how to make MVs in this community. I can count the number of people I've met who would classify themselves as primarily a youtaite animator on one hand. 110
