Reunions have always been wanted by mothers. Newspaper article from early 1980’s, Perth Western Australia Jigsaw was set up by mothers for mothers/adoptees; peer support system, to lobby for govt reform to end closed adoption and to find their stolen son/ daughter.

My state had an inquiry into forced adoption in 2024 More than 150 submissions were received. Most were from adoptees. 39 Recommendations were proposed by the parliamentary committee The WA govt did not agree to #36…. Why? #adoptee #adopteeblusky #righttoknow #WesternAustralia #WALabor

Churchill Trust (Australia) state that Grants report was destroyed in an office flood. CT-unable to indicate where/when this occurred. If this is true, there will be internal evidence & likely other reports that were damaged. An alt narrative is that Grants report was intentionally disappeared

Outrageous. Reminds me of how hard it was to get the pill last century. One Catholic doctor in town and his answer was to use the rhythm method. So many young teenage pregnancies and forced adoptions in the 1950’s -1970’s.
