I think LLMs could be a legitimately useful tool for programming. However, that does not mean they are able to reason, achieve consciousness, etc. It’s just the Eliza effect all over again. Cooking your brain on the coding tool is like jamming a screwdriver into your frontal lobe.

I generally don’t mind a cis actor/actress being cast to play a trans role. Obviously it should go to a trans actor/actress but we are 1-2% of the population and even less in acting. However casting a cis woman for a trans man or cis man for a trans woman is DIABOLICAL.
