If Dolly was our constant reminder that it was Good to be Good, Tim Curry was our reminder that it was Good to be Weird. Embrace your strangeness, sing with Muppets, wear your lingerie with a leather jacket, and fuck with uptight people who hate anything that makes them remotely uncomfortable.

my wife has a friend who sent Dolly Parton a painting she made & a letter explaining how much Dolly's music meant to her while she was transitioning. Dolly responded to it personally & paid for her top surgery. Sounds like an urban legend but it's real. I think we're going to more stories like this.

My wife suggested I make a ko-fi goal to help take time off to help her with grief, and I would like to continue to help her make funeral arrangements for her mom, and possibly needing to shuttle some of her family around. It’s not much, but please share if you can: ko-fi.com/redtiebear/g...

I hate continuing to push this so much but I still don't have a job and only have a few hundred dollars in my bank account at this point, so. I really can't not ask for help right now.

Also remember last summer when mastercard said 8,000 people called in one weekend? And we all called visa and stripe and paypal too? As far as I know you can still say you're from California and you can get through to a person at Stripe so let's all do that again

If anyone in or nearby Allen County, IN loves cats, this sweetie is named Dragon, has FeLV, and risks being euthanized. He’s currently living in a garage with no AC which isn’t sustainable as temperatures rise. He needs a foster or no-kill shelter spot stat: www.reddit.com/r/cats/s/Hrr...
