Do you still think that sloughi and saluki are the same sighthound? 'The Saluki was Egyptian (but it was the sloughi) and Persian'. In 2017 the study by Ostrander, Parker et al. places them in two separate clades. That's matters for genomic data: no fairy tales. #ancientdna #dog #Origins #book
