All Ukraine has to do is give up territory (land and people) to the Russians in areas Russia hasn't been to take and hold on their own, and then the war will be postponed for a bit, and some billionaires can make more money. Why doesn't Ukraine want peace? 🙄🤦‍♀️ Europe needs to stand against this.

What could possibly go wrong with putting all your eggs in the US basket? No way they'll go back on their word and use it as leverage to extract concessions (e.g. Greenland). I'd like to see more free trade, but Europe needs to hedge against the US.

Yes. Most countries do. Here in the UK if you get a company car there’s a huge decrease in benefit in kind tax. That said, they are genuinely better to own, especially if you can charge at home.

Good point, but won't they always find those narratives? That's the nature of the asymmetric information war they wage. They only need one dissenting view to make their argument, and in a free society, there will always be at least one.

The UK did suffer a decade of stagnant growth, social upheaval, and loss of power and influence. I’m not sure other EU members would be incentivized to leave and try to reform from the outside. Both the UK and EU would benefit from reuniting. One can dream, can’t they?
