Japan vibes ❤️ #japan @foto #travel #kansai #japantravel #photography #japanphotography
A tranquil moment in a narrow, covered Japanese shopping arcade as the sun sits low in the sky. A lone cyclist rides away down the center of the street, framed by traditional wooden buildings with Japanese signage and banners hanging above. Sunlight filters through the wooden and glass roof, casting a warm golden glow and long shadows along the arcade, with the cyclist and street aligned toward a distant vanishing point — a serene, evocative glimpse of everyday life in Japan.

A serene close-up of a white lotus flower with a soft yellow center floating on dark, still water. The blossom is framed by broad green lotus leaves, some glistening with droplets of water. Slowly enjoyed Kibune, today, where the signs are still in Japanese. #kyoto #japan #japantravel
A quiet, winding street in Kibune, a secluded mountain village north of Kyoto. A light green vintage car drives up the narrow road, framed by a lush canopy of green trees. Traditional wooden buildings with Japanese signage — likely the ryokan and restaurants famous for their riverside kawadoto dining — line the left side, while a stone wall runs along the right. A yellow scooter rests near the edge, and pedestrians stroll along the sidewalk as dappled sunlight filters through the leaves, capturing the serene, timeless atmosphere of this hidden mountain retreat.

Not so much #silentsunday in #Kanazawa, today. Japan has changed a lot over the years. Places that used to be silent are now full of tourists 24/7 and often have lost their quite atmosphere. I just hope Kanazawa doesn't become as crowded as Kyoto. #traveling #Japan
A charming view of the Higashi Chaya district in Kanazawa, Japan, featuring a narrow, stone-paved street lined with traditional wooden teahouse buildings in warm, earthy tones. Long, graceful branches of a willow tree droop overhead, creating a natural canopy that frames the scene. Visitors dressed in casual clothing stroll along the historic lane under a clear blue sky, the bright midday light casting soft shadows — a peaceful glimpse into one of Japan's best-preserved geisha districts.

The interior of a train car on the Hanyu line between Shin-Osaka and Kyoto, featuring green and purple seats. In the foreground, a green seat with a purple backrest frames the view, while large windows reveal a scenic landscape of green hills, a small town, and a partly cloudy blue sky rushing past. A sunlit alpine trail winds through a rocky, uneven path surrounded by patches of grass and low shrubs, leading the eye toward the majestic Marmolada, the Queen of the Dolomites, rising in the background. Back to planning hikes close to home ⛰️ I always recommend Val Di Zoldo, it's less crowded compared to other parts of the Dolomites, and it has amazing hikes as well. Whenever I need to step back from the crowded areas, it's always my first choice ❤️ @hiking #hiking #dolomiti #dolomites #mountains
A hand holds an open book titled 'Escursioni in Val di Zoldo' by Denis Perilli, part of the 'collana sentieri d'autore' series. The cover features a striking image of snow-capped mountain peaks (the Pelmo mount) towering over a traditional wooden building with a balcony, set against a backdrop of dense green forests. The book is published by Idea Montagna, as indicated by the logo and text at the bottom right corner, emphasizing its focus on hiking and alpine exploration in the Val di Zoldo region.

Attached: 1 video Everyone's heard of #matcha, the prized #Japanese powdered green tea, but who knows what's behind it? Come visit with us a #tencha factory, the raw material for matcha, and discover how a simple tea leaf can become such an extraordinary beverage! How is tencha produced? - The shaded tea leaves are harvested and taken to the factory, where they are steamed to soften and prevent oxidation. - They are then blown with hot air to separate them and begin drying. 1/2 @tea@lemmy.zip #tealovers #greentea
