Not my greatest look but I had just reached the summit of Helvellyn with Striding Edge to come. 6/6/26 #Helvellyn #StridingEdge #Wainwrights #LakeDistrict #Lakeland

Following on from seeing Aldous Harding in Southampton on Tuesday night, I had the absolute pleasure of seeing her again in London at The Barbican. Slightly further back and less intimate it made her even less chatty in between songs, 🤣 but the was just as mesmerising #AldousHarding

Totally unexpected today. No exercise for 2 weeks. No parkrun last weekend. Turned up late & got to the start line with 30 seconds to spare this morning. No warm-up or stretching beforehand. 🤷🏻‍♂️ #parkrun

This is just getting a bit daft now. Three PBs, three weeks in a row at Southampton parkrun. This week obviously spurred on by what I have been listening to. #parkrun 👍 #Southampton 🔴⚪️ #pb 💪 #running 🏃‍♂️ #OneSmallStep 📖 #audiobooks

My quickest Parkrun in almost seven years this morning. 27.34. My daughters best time. It was great to run with her again after her being away for 10 weeks in Thailand, Laos and Vietnam. #Parkrun

33.10 at Itchen Valley Park Run this morning. I love Parkrun, it is the bst way to start your weekend, but I can't say I enjoyed this course. It was very dangerous in places on the first half of the course. Need a plan b for this time of year, guys. Still, another 5km ticked off. #Parkrun 🏃‍♂️

Good to be back at Southampton Parkrun this morning after a month lay off. Followed by a 6km dog walk and a huge and very, very sweet cake! #Parkrun #DogWalk #Cake

After a week in my sick bed, it was grand to be out in the freshest of air today at The Witterings with Lady B and Ronnie the Frenchie. #Witterings #Frenchie

Stupid bleak mid winter. I just want to go away in my van. Mind you, it was a perfect day to stay in and plan a couple of road trips for 2025. ##VanLife 🤙

30.00 minute Parkrun this morning, my target. Could have been sub 30, but I waited for my daughter when her shoelace came undone, and she promptly left me standing 🤣🤣🤣 #Parkrun #LoveParkrun 🏃‍♂️ 🏃‍♀️

What a wonderful gift of a radio programme #DesertIslandDiscs is. Great to hear both contributors this morning back on the airwaves after recent ill health. A perfectly wet grey Sunday morning to stop in & listen to the hilarious Mark Steel & the fabulous Lauren Laverne
