This is obviously disgusting in so many ways. Gonna highlight one: Servicemember beard exemptions are all on religious or medical grounds. They're either Sikhs (mostly South Asian) or have a skin condition related to shaving curly hair (mostly African American). "No beardos" is racist as hell.

One family, after the capture of a loved one, found out about it from activists and took steps to move other loved ones to non-287(g) jurisdictions. Another family still had no idea about why their loved one was captured until I told them about this and took steps to protect others that day.

The meters were sold 20 years ago by Richard Daley. The city cannot buy them back, they tried. The only power they had was a yay or nay vote on the council, and they could only legally vote nay for a couple reasons, including the poor reputation of the buyer. The progressives on the council also

They haven’t done an ICE flight in months and have done a round of layoffs. Yes, they could start again, but it is not guaranteed. Buyer could just as easily sell the planes for parts and close up shop. Take the win, Randy. (Also they don’t have a contract with ICE, they go through a flight broker)
