25 years ago today. I vividly recall watching TV coverage with my colleagues in horror and disbelief. Brave first responders going to the towers in what would be their final call. We must never forget their sacrifice nor the innocent souls who died that day.

Finally, common sense. In my opinion, the same should apply to other 'contentious' issues, i.e., abortion, same sex marriage, etc. - if you don't agree with it, or if it offends you for whatever reason, don't do it, simple.

That was a very moving piece by Ms Curlee. An incredibly knowledgeable and experienced officer cast aside because this administration can not see past their biases. It's their way with plastered, fake gold and crosses or the highway, and the US and the world are more dangerous as a result.

I have the utmost respect for Judge Luttig and truly hope that he is correct. The runaway train of corruption, cruelty, and disregard for the rule of law, the Constitution, and common decency seems to be gathering pace, aided by many members of the Supreme Court, rather than hitting the buffers!
