The role of society in ending animal testing
How much is science affected by societal factors? Love Hansell is a PhD student at the Radboud University in Nijmegen School of Management and he is currently analysing the key barriers and opportunity to accelerating the transition to non-animal science. Among his findings are two main topics: the unjustified rejection of non-animal science reliability within the scientific community and society as a whole. Learn more in the video. Like him, many scientists are working to develop new cruelty-free methods that are as - if not more - effective than those that use and exploit animals. This is the third video of our new ‘Lab of tomorrow’ series, in which we invite scientists to tell us about their work and discoveries in order to raise awareness of the feasibility and effectiveness of non-animal science.
