I forgot Christopher Abbott was in this mess. X-Men, don’t fail him now.

Or maybe because you just wasted money unnecessarily making a live-action version of an animated film that wasn’t even ten years old, and as such is (from what I heard) an even more blatant copy than last year’s HTTYD remake. Did you even take that into consideration?

Watched the new Ebenezer trailer, and it looks meh. There have been better Christmas Carol adaptations, and I doubt it’ll live up to any of them. If Ti West directed it similarly to Pearl, that would’ve been great. Still hoping the Eggers one happens someday.

At this point, there's no way the film will be ready by next December. I can see this getting pushed to 2028.

“The web-shooter’s always been mine. That asshole’s just keeping it warm.” On a serious note, I’m down for a premise like this. Gonna need more legitimacy, though.

Absolutely masterclass picture. Seeing this on an IMAX screen was one of the greatest movie experiences I ever had. There are reasons why this topped my Four Favorites.

I haven’t seen the director’s other films, but I was a fan of the last movie, so I’m eager to see what Nelson brings to the table here. Game on.

I wonder if this is separate from the one Anne Hathaway was gonna do. Oh, and if you saw the Gabby’s Dollhouse movie, you knew Doozie’s Doghouse was coming.

The only Woo films I’ve seen are Mission: Impossible 2 and Face/Off. I prefer the latter. I’d like to check out some of his other films, particularly Hard Boiled and Silent Night.

Things might be grim right now, but the last thing I wanna do is fall into despair and hopelessness. I believe in a good future for filmmaking and I wanna make sure that I stand strong at harsh times like now. I'm still going to fight for a good future because someone has to.

Doomerism lets the evils in the world win, leading to said doomerism continuing endlessly

If there’s a Hulk, I have one request: bring in the outfit with the bunny slippers.

Hulk says “Let us reason together.” While armed with some weaponry and wearing a black tank top, brown pants with a belt, and bunny slippers.

AI art is not real art. It’s made without emotion. It’s human-less, bland, sloppy bs.

I am very aware that this is a parody like The Mean One because Seuss characters aren’t in the public domain yet, but I think this point still stands.

Don’t make me tap the sign

If a beloved children’s character enters the public domain and your first thought is to turn them into a horror villain, then you’re just being lazy.

As a general reminder, please try not to give into doomerism regarding the merger if it goes through. In the event it does, it will undoubtedly suck in so many ways, but giving into hopelessness will let them win and it is our duty to fight back and not give them what they want. (1/2)

The first one worked very well as a romcom and absolutely delivered as a slasher. Looking forward to seeing how they up the ante this time around.

What I find interesting about Meryl Streep voicing Aslan is that she and the previous Aslan actor, Liam Neeson, were in a crime drama called Before and After. They played parents whose son was accused of murder.

I don't care how important this footage is for Doomsday, I'm not planning on sitting in a theater for three hours seeing a film I already saw twice when it first came out just for two-to-five minutes of new stuff. Someone can tell me what happens in the footage.
