I woke up from a nap really disoriented and this is what I see

Guardian article:
Iceland to become first UK high street retailer to open shop in Falkland Islands

My guess is they are gonna do what they did for the Gulf of Mexico they just haven't properly updated it yet

Search it up on Google Maps, it will most likely give you this

Screenshot of Google Maps.
The search results for the location show "Lake Ontario (Lake of America)"
Meanwhile in the regular map part it still shows "Lake Ontario" as the name

When conjuring a piece of paper out of thin air and ripping it up leaves me really tired

I don’t think the article was specifically targeting trans people’s criticisms. There’s a general outpouring of hatred against the movie from a whole bunch of people, most are barely engaging with the content of the movie and only a small amount of it seems to be trans people’s criticisms

Thank God they only almost disturbed artefacts that are thousands of years old instead of touching stones erected by an army of manchildren for their favourite media property which will be forgotten in a few decades

This is actually the exact same technique that NASA uses to convince you the Earth is round

Realized recently that I haven't put much thought on how a space station is gonna be built/explode in my animation so here's a short animatic I did in Callipeg #animation #scifi

I know Halo Infinite gets lot of criticism but I don't think anyone can deny that it's one of the most beautiful Halo games

Low poly master chief (which is what happens when you play Halo Infinite on a potato PC)

Master Chef and the iconic Halo Infinite character Spartan Griffin, who has went through so much Banished torture that it has significantly changed the shape of his skull (it's in low poly)

People don’t credit it because it is from a well known piece of media that most people can easily recognise and look up, which is very different from AI where finding the exact source can be incredibly difficult. Anyways here are the credits

Space, Earth visible from above, mostly Western/Southern Europe, with some clouds above the continent.
Above the planet some stars can be seen

Space, the final frontier. Stars in the background, a space station visible nearby, while the Pillar of Peace is in the middle, with turrets on top and bottom and on the sides

With alt text because I keep forgetting to add it:

A scrapyard. A green building and different ship parts in the foreground, a ship in the middle with a mechanical claw holding it up, the claw itself is attached to a tower. Two mountains in the background, an orange sky above them.

I'm starting to regret the art style I went with for the finished backgrounds for Pillar of Peace because these concept art pieces looks stylistically better #art #artsky #digitalart #scifi

From my sci-fi animation: Sights from the front window of the spaceship Pillar of Peace #art #digitalart #artsky #scifi

A star system with three planets.
A yellow planet in the foreground, a belt of asteroids and a red planet behind it in the middle, and finally a dark blue one in the back.

Green planet with a ring, space looks green-ish behind it

A star cluster or galaxy+interstellar cloud(s) visible in space (idk what it is I just drew it after flying around a bunch in Space Engine, tho it's not based on any perticular locations in it)

Interstellar cloud that looks purple idk how else to describe it

This smear frame lives rent free in my head

Smear frame from Hilda Intro, A troll yells at Hilda and Twig, to accentuate the motion of Hilda going from a static pose to her screaming with Twig in her arms there are three hats, three pairs of eyes etc.

Happy #indieanimationday! I'm currently working on a sci-fi animated short, Pillar of Peace, centered around a spaceship, showing multiple eras in which it gets used for different purposes by people with different agendas

Small, simplistic icon of the early version of the spaceship Pillar of Peace

Pillar of Peace as it looks right at it's launch
White and blue spaceship, with a white hull, some blue armouring on the side, and blue engines.
It's shown from four side, first from the side, then from the front, then from a more 3D perspective with the top and the side visible, and finally from the rear

Man in black unform with three gold stripes on cuffs, gold epaulettes, gold standing collars and a navy cap with a gold circle on it

IUN (Interplanetary Union-a revolutionary faction) spaceship Integrity
Small ship mostly made up of two parts, one being the crew compartment with a round tank-like part on it's nose.
The rear part connects directly with the engine, with a small turret on top. There's a black and red vertical stripe on the ship's hull

Size comparison from the storyboard between Pillar of Peace and Terra class

Pillar of Peace in the foreground, with a huge Terra class ship in the background, around three times it's height, two times it's length and four times it's width (tho that part isn't visible in the frame above)

Here's the last Pillar of Peace spaceship reference sheet, this is supposed to be the early version of the ship as an exploration vessel, before it gets converted into a warship #art #scifi #artsky #digitalart

White and blue spaceship, with a white hull, some blue armouring on the side, and blue engines.
It's shown from four side, first from the side, then from the front, then from a more 3D perspective with the top and the side visible, and finally from the rear

Pillar of Peace character sheets: These officers oversee the initial launch of the spaceship Pillar of Peace as a vessel of peaceful exploration #art #digitalart #artsky

Blue-ish grey double breasted uniform with gold collars, a gold belt buckle, gold cuffs and gold buttons.
The man wearing them has white hair, with the top of his head being mostly bald. He has a friendly mutton chop beard (on a sidenote it's pretty funny that this style of beard has friendly in it's name I just called it the Franz Joseph till now).

Blue-ish grey double breasted uniform with gold collars, a gold belt buckle, gold cuffs and gold buttons.
Brown, short oiled hair split in the middle, a small moustache.

Side swept hair, a thin, downward pointed moustache.
