Excerpt: With his phone to his ear, Shane opened his front door and froze.

There, on his doorstep, stood an unbelievably handsome Ilya Rozanov.

He was shivering – from nervousness or the cold weather, Shane couldn’t tell – but Ilya certainly looked warm in an open Tom Ford peacoat, a cashmere crewneck sweater, and dark jeans. A black toque had no business trapping his curls like that, and Shane’s fingers flexed with the need to bury themselves in them.

There was no doubt that Ilya had put thought into his obscenely expensive outfit, and Shane had to put all his effort into not drooling at Ilya’s criminally ripped biceps, impossibly thick thighs, and insanely handsome features.

Shane felt underdressed, even a bit naked, under Ilya’s intense gaze. As Ilya pulled off his black leather gloves, his eyes traveled from Shane’s tight black boxer shorts to the Adidas T-shirt that peeked out from underneath a black and gold sweatshirt.

Shane swallowed. Hard. “Rose, I, uh, I gotta go. Ilya’s here.”

As if Shane summoned him, Ilya crossed the distance between them in two quick strides. Shane’s phone clattered to the ground, but he barely registered it. He couldn’t even remember if he ended the call when Ilya’s firm hand came up to cup his cheek. Shane’s back touched the nearest wall before he even realized he moved backwards, and then Ilya’s warm mouth devoured his.

So I’m reading a person’s fiction, and they almost never finish a story. It’s like right when it’s getting good, they end it. So I can’t tell if they like open-ended stories or they just don’t want to put the work into the plot. I’m thinking it’s the latter. Onto the next author!

Makes sense. Casting calls seem to indicate we’re getting pieces of four books in Season 2, and TLG is long. I think we’ll see - Season 1: Boyfriends Season 2: Fiancés Season 3: Husbands But Hudson & Connor are only contracted for three seasons now, so not sure what will happen with Unrivaled.
