Adorable "note" on my door last week. They used the classroom next door all summer. Spent one afternoon with them doing hand washing activities including making agar hand prints. They would stop by my office to say hi. They were occasionally loud but I loved the energy!

Had a great time at the #MissouriStateFair. Introduced the microbial world with #Foldscopes, #AgarArt and #Bactograph display, and cellfies! Gave away about 100 #Foldscopes Did sunscreen experiment and made bracelets with UV sensitive beads Thanks to these great students for helping out!

The plague comes to Raymondville! Another opportunity to dig out the #PlagueDoctor costume and take a group of middle school students on a journey during the time of the plague. Also got to talk about handwashing with the younger kids and make hand prints on agar plates. Stay tuned for the results!
