I'm getting to be pretty alright at the damn game, and even won a few first level decks now. Then I get to yellow, and every time I get in the groove, it'll throw a curveball to bone me. Here, it's like.. "You think you're cute with your build, well, FUCK YOU then!" (Face card stack build)

I think something is glitched in the Corsair hub or something. Everything connected to it isn't registering any longer (default rainbow/graphic). Tried drivers, moving cables, but still glitched. Think it about sums up my mood lately with everything though..

Was wondering why the shape of this storm and patterns of movement were so strange in comparison to normal pattern SE-E-NE movements. Interesting makeup of fronts and pressure areas creating the strange storm line movement range across WI/IL.

It would seem that the cortisone shots after a week, seem to be helping with the muscle issues I've had for a loooong time. Can actually start to grip things with my left hand again tighter. In the meantime, been putzing with Fo4 since the update a couple years ago. Forgot how fun it was.

So day 2 of severe weather here.. Did see some trees down from earlier while out there, but with the tornado touchdown near KMSN, everyone in town was out taking photos. (Pointing North on 73/12&18). I wish the camera in the phone could capture the different colours and textures of the clouds.

Been putzing with the new D2R release and wanted to try my hand at a Fire Warlock. Starting Hell Act 5 now, but wanted a very nice demon to get me past 80. Bosses have been a joke, it's the Fire Resistant annoying shit. I lucked the fuq out after a few armorer runs. (Conv. [-FR] aura + Cursed!)

Had an audiologist appointment today to inquire about a weird effect I have happen a couple times a week. My hearing in one of my ears will just 'reboot'. All signals stop, then over 60 seconds it's like the flashbang effect you see in movies til normal again.

Was about to start drying my laundry here at the cabin, when upon pulling the lint trap out to clean it, found this lying on the bottom part inside. Not sure how a 22LR round ended up down there, but had to use a spatula and scissors to get it out.

It's been a day. I did manage to get wires routed where I wanted them after much drywall ripping and drilling through exterior wall framework. My computer desk while trying to move it decided to finally give out though after 13 years.

I went as far back as I could to drill the hole to see just how far back I was, and wow. Not even close, drill won't fit, nor me. Will have to cut part of the wall instead to drill through the beam and fish the cables through from behind. -.-

Since we'll be ripping this whole bathroom apart, this is what I was talking about with the found 'void' space where we ran the cables from the attic. There is no reason why I can't put a full shower in here at all I can see, and it's all wasted space.. Just a vent stack for water heater in there.

When watching a file copy over USB3, I can see 'overall' speed copying (lil over 200MB/sec). The 2x read cache writes about 70MB/sec each, and the 4xRAID5 are doing about 65MB/sec. I mean, it will store 8TB in less than 12 hours, I'm just confused a bit how it all is working, and configured right.

Well holy crap.. It all worked after putting everything in first time. Now I get to learn all about ZFS and QuTS Hero and everything I can do with it all! But, both PCIe cards are working for 10GbE and 2 ZFS drives on the QM2 card.

This hotel is fuggin' really cute too. I had no clue of this name (Pullman), but I like it. On the 9th floor and can watch planes! The hallway floors are designed like airstrips with markings. Today is my 'relax' day before INTENSE TOURING!

Upon logging in this morning, it turns out the issue from last night wasn't because of the AD change, just coincidence. Doing deep investigation, turns out the service software has a bug with it's SMTP sends. Can't say I've seen this error before, and never hope to again.

Something that gets an IT geek happy. Wiping a laptop fully and installing Win11, painstakingly manually applying every single driver for the attached hardware one by one.. And at the end of all the updates, not a single ding in Device Manager. I really should image the drive at this state..

Post-vet visit, it looks to have been an injury that took a bit to show itself. Xrays and other tests show nothing broken or torn thank dog. Just keeping him on light-duty and continuing antibiotic regimen, but otherwise he's doing quite well health wise. Post-medicated sleep now..

Got him on strong antibiotics and pain meds, as well as keeping it clean/wrapped. We're going to see the vet on Monday and continue to monitor over the weekend. Hopefully he doesn't get any worse. Poor guy.. -.-

To quell the internal stresses, I've been doing another round of RDR2 since I really missed a TON in the epilogue. Can't believe my first playthrough I didn't do a majority of it. But, at least on the 'game' basis, got 100%. As for Compendium full 100%, just got a few simple things to finish.
