The #handsoff protest in Portland, OR is HUGE! People filled Waterfront park between the Steel and Burnside bridges and beyond. Naito Parkway closed to traffic by the police so we could spread out. Still folks streaming in from side streets!

I just contacted the WHCA to urge them to boycott press briefings and travel on Air Force one for banning the Associated Press! We need a free and responsible press and need to tell them so! Please let them know they have a responsibility to keep these clowns in check. There’s a link in the thread.

Made hummus today after soaking the dry garbanzos overnight. Have a batch of plain garlic (with lemon juice, tahini, olive oil, corse salt, black pepper and cumin) and another I added chipotle peppers in adobo sauce for a bit of heat. Pita bread is next.
