Trump showed himself to be pathologically dumb. President Zelensky should never ever trust Trump and US. Ukraine has to rely on its self and allies in Europe. Europe has to start rearming itself rather faster than it had hoped.

As I am observing what is happening in Kiev and in conflict between Ukraine and Russia I believe that there has been a quite a big change in Moscow. Even if many observers and experts have not noticed it, Putin has been given a deadline for a resolution to this conflict.

As I tried to book tickets to IMAX screening of Odyssey without any success it had occurred to me that Nolan doesn’t have any understanding about film exhibition and distribution. What is the point of making a very expensive film in a format which is possible to see only in a handful of cinemas?

After reading today’s newspapers I predict that Andy Burnham will deeply regret that he opted for replacing Keir Starmer as PM. Too many problems are waiting to be dealt with. Biggest one is DIP which needs to be attended to and executed quickly. There can’t be any more delays in this matter.

I am getting good reports about a film called Tuner directed by Daniel Rourke. It is a thriller, very much dependent on music. My advice to everyone is that if you want to have full enjoyment of this film go to a cinema which has a best sound reproduction.

If Trump’s regime wants to have a purposeful peace agreement between Iran, Middle East and rest of the world it should negotiate for whole Middle East to be without nuclear weapons. For that Trump would have to throw into negotiations Israel’s nuclear arsenal. Just aiming at Iran is a waste of time.

I am missing logic as to why Trump is blocking Strait of Hormuz when Iran is already blocking the Strait. Economically whole world will be affected. As far as I can see US is not willing to enter into serious negotiations. They can’t expect that Iran will just sign Trump’s terms of surrender.

Consider the opportunity costs of the war in Iran. The missiles might have been sent to Ukraine, to end that war. The money might have bought healthcare for Americans. The attention of Europe and Asia might have been focused on countering Russia and China, not re-opening the Strait of Hormuz

As is usual every year I am short of seeing two films. The Secret Agent and Sentimental Value. All other films I have viewed. Surprised at the inclusion of F1. Wonder how that got pushed in? Disappointed that Song Sung Blue was omitted. It was such a warm pleasant film. Ah well.
