Sketched today's Inktober. I've been struggling with colors. With 12 pens/10 colors per pen I was lost. Last night I made color swatches for each of the 120 colors. Maybe that will help. My arm started to hurt from all the hatching. Be back later with the finished drawing. #inktober #inktober2026

Tech help? I see 3-4 little ghostly alpha images on the upper right of my monitor. They don't appear in screenshots. They do appear in full screen apps. I've tried everything. Turning off nVidia overlay etc. Any ideas? Can't be burn in?

Just re-wrapped 1 of 3 A/C units outside. New rubber insulation (Armaflex), wrapped in Shurtape HVAC Line Set Tape, wrapped in Aluminum Foil Tape then RectorSeal Duct Seal where it meets the house. First pic is the old and busted. Rest are in progress pics. Texas heat, baby.

I love electronic/ambient music but I get stuck in ruts and rarely explore new music via Spotify etc. Friends turned me onto Boards of Canada (new album soon) and they are fantastic! Perfect music to work to and their debut album, Music has the Right to Children is 10/10.

A common tactic on Bluesky seems to be: You get a new follower. You look at that follower and they have like 80k followers but they follow 250k people (basically everyone). Their accounts are usually just nonsense or politics (same thing really?) Anyway I insta-block these folks when I see them.

Knight of the Seven Kingdoms is phenomenal. Amazing. 11/10. The only knocks are that the episodes are short (30-40m or so vs 60mins) and there's only 6 episodes in season 1. Anyway, it's god tier tv and any GoT fan should be eating it up! Finale on Sunday.
