geomck @geomck.bsky.social · 05/09/2026Effortlessly cool, smart, sassy perfect pop. Her best album yet. She should be huge. 010
geomck @geomck.bsky.social · 05/09/2026I hope you sell them all, Joe. I have my LP/CD set already and I can't understand why they haven't all sold out. It's a wonderful album. 010

geomck @geomck.bsky.social · 27/08/2026Is a single Rangers player able to trap a ball? Everything seems to bounce off them to a Jablonec player. Woeful. 000
geomck @geomck.bsky.social · 17/08/2026Souttar, although too slow last season, is better than him. 100
geomck @geomck.bsky.social · 17/08/2026It's not evidence that we have worked out how to play against a team that play the low block. Fair play to St Mirren for having a go and having us a right few scares, but they left themselves wide open. And WTF has happened to Fernandez? He's knocking 1m off his price every time he plays. 100
geomck @geomck.bsky.social · 19/07/2026The Muppets and Shakira were the only decent bits. TF for that Spanish goal. Dreadful game. 000
geomck @geomck.bsky.social · 19/07/2026This is one of the worst finals I have ever watched. Argentina parking the bus like a bottom of league team in a World Cup final? 000
geomck @geomck.bsky.social · 29/05/2026It's one of my absolutely favourite albums. Especially as I was there the night it was recorded. (yes, I'm old...) 110
geomck @geomck.bsky.social · 28/04/2026A lovely beer. Easy drinking, smooth. Caramel and dark chocolate. 000
geomck @geomck.bsky.social · 27/04/2026Everybody raving about Fernandez and Djiga and we're shipping goals right left and centre. Rangers not doing enough to keep Tav. But they looked so much better after he came on. FFS. 020
geomck @geomck.bsky.social · 23/04/2026I'm sad to see him go. I have never understood the haters. Always there when needed. Odd defensive lapse (like every defender), but amazing goals and assists. Crosses, corners, set pieces and penalties. The haters will eat their words when he's gone. No visible replacement since Paterson left. 031
geomck @geomck.bsky.social · 06/01/2026Is it just me, or is there a significant difference since the new set piece coach came in? 131
Reposted by geomckKieron Tyler @kierontyler.bsky.social · 19/10/2025A gem. I Can’t Let Go is a diligent, treasure-packed tribute to @eviesands.bsky.social, one of Sixties’ America’s great vocal stylists. Out on @acerecords.bsky.social. I’ve looked at it today for @theartsdesk.bsky.social: www.theartsdesk.com/new-music/mu... 1116
geomck @geomck.bsky.social · 19/10/2025She is wonderful. I once saw her live in Glasgow with David Scott and Norman Blake in her band. Lovely woman to meet, too. 010
geomck @geomck.bsky.social · 27/08/2025He looks broken. Too many people have forgotten what he's done for Rangers. Especially Martin. Yes he's fading, but he's not done and Aarons is way below his level. 030
geomck @geomck.bsky.social · 27/08/2025He's been honking since he came in. Why does Martin think he's better than Tav? 200
geomck @geomck.bsky.social · 20/08/202515m? Don't make me laugh. Anything more than we paid for him would be fine. He's got talent, but Martin has knocked the heart out of him. 000
geomck @geomck.bsky.social · 21/06/2025I was at that City Halls gig. The Adverts were the support. Brilliant night. No riot. A bit boisterous, sure, maybe a wee scrap here and there because of misplaced gob. Also at the Silver Threads Generation X gig. At front and shared a mic with Billy Idol briefly in the chorus for Your Generation. 010
geomck @geomck.bsky.social · 23/05/2025I'd have some quibbles about omissions and ranking, but that's obviously been written by someone who loves Teenage Fanclub as much as I do. After all the repetitive s**t about the 3 Bs that's been written, that article is a joy to read. And he's spot on about #1. 130
geomck @geomck.bsky.social · 03/05/2025I'm almost tempted to buy it again! It's a wonderful record. 110
geomck @geomck.bsky.social · 22/04/2025Two wonderful, one of a kind, characters together. Sadly, you'd never see anything like this on British tv now. 000
geomck @geomck.bsky.social · 17/04/2025Wasn't confident, but had a niggle of hope. Injuries, dodgy ref, dodgy var, Diomande at left back and playing a better team put paid to that. Raskin and Soutar had a (mostly) good game though. Got to look for the positives, eh? 😪 100
geomck @geomck.bsky.social · 16/04/2025Do you mean the "OMG, we're going to get a hiding" feeling? I hope I'm wrong. Rangers are a weird beast in Europe. 100
geomck @geomck.bsky.social · 27/01/2025Alex Harvey was the dogs bollocks live. I've never seen anyone better. Nick Cave comes close and I've, sadly, never seen Bowie. Joe Strummer came closest. 120
geomck @geomck.bsky.social · 24/12/2024Maybe she needed a band to keep her in check back then. Mind you, she was young. A lot could have changed since. Wonderful singer. 010
geomck @geomck.bsky.social · 24/12/2024It is. But this is even better. From the genius that is Andy Partridge. And with a perfect Monkees video. youtu.be/mbf6HbKZSMk?...youtu.beThe Monkees - You Bring The Summer (Official Music Video)YouTube video by The Monkees 010
geomck @geomck.bsky.social · 24/12/2024I loved her. Had all the albums and the LJ ones. Finally got to see her live in Glasgow. Maybe 3-4 solo albums in. Just her & a guitarist. Full blown tortured artist diva mode. Why sing 1 note when you can sing 5? Bloody awful. 1 of only 2 gigs I've left early in 40+ years. I'm still disappointed. 100
geomck @geomck.bsky.social · 10/12/2024I think I'm more of a prog-rock Tull type than a folky Tull type. 010
geomck @geomck.bsky.social · 09/12/2024I finally got around to it today. I found Requiem and One White Duck a little dull, but the rest is proggy damn fine. Amazing guitar. I drifted away from them after Thick as a Brick - not sure why - and have never gone back until now. Thank you! 100
geomck @geomck.bsky.social · 08/12/2024Wee matchstick men. Give me the front of the Barras anytime. 110
geomck @geomck.bsky.social · 20/11/2024Oops 😬. All the tracks from that album are on Midnight Blue. 😳. Search over. (And, yes, they're brilliant) 010
