What in the ACTUAL HECK is this ?? I can't be the only thinking "The new desktop YouTube layout is just horrendous". They've put the comments on the RIGHT, other vids/thumbnails to watch now BELOW, and a ridiculously huge video window. Has anyone found a workaround yet, to put it back? Help!

New STATION! Balgray opens in East Renfrewshire this weekend on Sunday 27th Sep, on the Glasgow Central - Neilston line. The National Rail website says the first trains are at 08.50am So here's my updated list! Goodness knows when Winslow is opening, anyone got Butetown date?

The newest station on the network Okehampton Interchange opens TOMORROW ( 1st August 2026 ) the first train is the 07:05 to Okehampton, the first Exeter is at 07:26. There was a press preview event today, so I popped down [ made a video ] I think this will be the Thumbnail!

Ok, who want a Station Count update? Okehampton Interchange to open ... very soon! Balgray then has a confirmed September opening date, and then it looks like Bristol Brabazon station will be before the end of the year too - that'll be ELEVEN new stations that have opened this year!

Now I'm looking up the location of the new Balgray Railway station .... look on Google Maps to the east, and you can see where the tracks widen for an Island platform that doesn't exist - the location of Lyoncross Station which was never finished! A ghost railway station ...

New station Cambridge South opened on Sunday ( 28th June ) so here's the updated list of stations since 2020, we're up to 2597! Unofficially, I think the next four to open could be: Okehampton Interchange ( Devon ) Balgray ( East Renfrewshire ) Butetown( Cardiff ) Winslow ( Buckinghamshire )

A fascinating discussion has sprung up from the "one platform tube stations" video involving former stations Did Ongar USED to have one platform and more built later? as Carto Metro map says it has 3 platforms! and what about North Weald? Did the EOR heritage line build new platforms, anyone know?

A crowd sourcing moment this morning! Can you help? I snapped this picture of bus stop 'U' on the Strand last night, look at its Night Route tiles. It's actually missing a couple because if you check it's served by the N9, N15, N21, N26, N44, N87, N89, N91, N155, N199, N343, N550, N551.

New Station! Opened this morning, Northumberland Park on the Northumberland line becomes station #2590, which means there's just Bedlington left, and could be the next new staiton ... [ unless Pineapple Road, Kings Heath or Moseley Village open first that is! ]

I caught up with it at Hammersmith, saw two units out on test trundling up and down the line. Official TfL line is that the trains will enter service in the second half of 2026.
