I remember now that I bought a commercial heating pad a couple years ago just for this reason and it works amazingly, curing the epoxy past tackiness in 2 hours compared to 6 hours. I used it last year a few times. I’ll do that.

Kind of what I’m going for. So much more work to do. Laugh at my warped stringer, I do. I don’t remember how it happened. It doesn’t matter, it’s permanently connected and doing what it needs to do, connecting the hull sides together. Once everything is epoxied it will be strong as steel.

Starboard bow is now under construction. I’m glad to finally get this piece made so I can take the screws out of this board and make it flat again. Much more to do. The screws hold the shape of the bow as the epoxy bonds the pieces together.

The gas tax is per gallon, but good point, a per mile tax would be fairer. I concede that point, but it would require you to report your mileage and would be onerous. 68 cents a day seems reasonable to me to avoid that annoyance while still contributing to society.

The damage was extensive when I had to turn the hull to move it. None of the inside had been fiberglassed yet so the core plastic was broken in places. It’s good to have it home though, I’m saving $120 a month and it’s a lot easier to work on it here. But I can’t grind or sand much: too loud.

By extending the length of bulkhead 6 I’ve made the deck flat instead of curved and I’ve given a lot more space to the hull in the back.

My frustration is at full maximum in this clip after I broke a lot of the un-epoxied parts (stringers etc. not shown) trying to flip it over with the wheels and bulkhead frame attached a couple of days ago. It is repairable, contrary to my instant reaction. I’m back to my normal happy self now.
