Enjoying makeup as an artistic/creative expression or to combat the extreme lighting changes humans have made in our lives, especially with an on camera lifestyle is cool. Cosmetic surgery is great. But when is it too much? Is this just an outward sign of an inward problem?

It’s complicated with this odd “blow up doll” marlago face thing going on. Because it seems to point to a disturbing symptom of a disorder happening that people are accepting so much they are emulating it. And it’s among a particular group of people so we make fun out of frustration and anger.

I have a deep affection for Hopkins as my daughter’s life was saved there at six days old. And this is great news. Also… just now? In 2026? When the surgery that saved my baby’s life was made possible by a black man 80+ years ago? We are a shameful society.
