It really is something special to not only have worked on a show I liked but was great to work on, but seeing so much positive responses to it. It’s really validating

The King of the Hill revival is out and I am so excited for everyone to see it! Getting to direct retakes animation on such a beloved show like this is a huge honor. I hope everyone enjoys it as much as our production loved making this show

I hate modern trailers so much! They either give away the whole story or major plot points that should be saved while experiencing the story. But no, they put it in the 3 min trailer

Anyone commenting that the King of the Hill animation is rigged or puppet I am glad/hope that you are not in the industry. It just shows that you have no eye to discern character rigs and frame-by-frame drawn animation For the record: There are no puppets nor rigs

I’m incredibly proud to have been Retake Director on the King of the Hill revival. It’s so good and I can’t wait for people to see it!

ToonBoom no longer offering perpetual licenses really just shows how much they’re just as money grubbing as Adobe. How the hell do they think that I’m gonna just send them over $1000/year for the rest of my career? As if profits really come from individual artists who can’t afford it already

Now where were all these pink cleats I’m seeing the Dodgers wearing for Mother’s Day a month ago when I was shopping for them?!

I don’t know why I thought I should watch the second season of the Last of Us when I didn’t like the second game. That story was just so frustrating and I don’t want to sit through it again

I gotta say I am real sick of animation “influencers” and “content creators”

Michael Pacheco @generalpoobah.bsky.social · 24/04/2025

Oscars are apparently instituting members actually watch the films before allowed to vote & there’s reactions of people “You mean they DIDNT before?!” Meanwhile everyone in animation already knew this LOOOONG ago. It’s be openly admitted that members don’t watch the films in the animation category

Quick character design of an 80s business lady with a cigarette in her hand. Her outfit is pink, her eyes are green, and the background is blue. She is giving a cheeky, seductive look to the viewer.

It tended to be specific shows they were aware of. I wasn't allowed to watch South Park or Simpsons as a kid. My parents didn't just see cartoons as "just for kids" and actually were knew what went on on those shows. Simpsons wasn't bad but they saw it as inappropriate
