This Fiona Apple narrated explainer PSA on how to film (and release footage from, not livestream) ICE arrests is exactly what we need from people with production skills right now and is worth about 3 million celebrity “imagine” covers in terms of survival utility

Aphex Twin's Ambient Works vol.2 + Japanese Animal Crossing: New Horizon's twitch streams make for an interesting combo vibe-wise

Another, rougher one of Sawa from Kite (1998)

Kite (1998) is pretty cool, it made me draw (Don't necessarily take this as a recommendation, do your own research before watching, there's some very ugly stuff in this OVA)

Been working on a game featuring this gal on and off for a while now. No idea when I'll have anything playable, especially since I'm moving around a lot these days, but I'm chipping away at it #gamedev #3Danimation

I know her work meant a lot to some of y'all, but it's genuinely long past time to let rowling go. LONG past time.

Terrific author’s note from C K McDonnell. Automating a process is stupid if the process is the point. Also, if a book lasts into further reprints, is read maybe, hopefully, into the future, these notes will be valuable, lived history.

Exactly this. We can’t just wait for the law to wrangle generative AI. It needs to be culturally mocked into disuse. Unethical scraping of billions of images without consent is not just a “new tech, like photography”. It’s poisoned at the root.

Happy Christmas everyone. Sorry to be an asshole but Israel just conducted one of the deadliest strikes of the whole genocide and I'm really afraid that they're gonna use the holiday as cover to conduct the worst massacres we've seen yet

Been doing post production on 4k footage for my stop motion short on a 2018 ryzen 5 and a 1060 6GB for the past 3 days. When I cose my eyes all I see is a hanging progress bar, and I always feel about 2 seconds away from a bluscreen crash. Fun times
