We bullied wildlife as a shadowknight for a few levels, bullied bandits (and wildlife) for a few levels as our shaman, then bullied wildlife to try and get some questing done. But for SOME reason, the wildlife didn't like us and refused to drop the items we want. I wonder why.

Watched the Triple I thing, was pretty neat. Still excited for Drunken Goddess Reflux, looks just fun. Prison of Husks has been on my wishlist for a bit as well, can't wait for that. The only new ones I'm interested in look into/try out that I saw were Wyldheart and that one with the mice.

Gaming chat app Discord has suffered another user data breach, with a suspected 1 million email addresses stolen alongside (potentially many more) user IDs and IP addresses. While Discord was not targeted directly, third party security service Double Counter have reported a "deliberate, multi-stage attack" wherein hackers spent nearly six hours poking around their infrastructure before the vulnerability was closed.

Double Counter essentially acts as a bouncer bot for Discord servers, promising to detect and block unsanctioned alt accounts and prevent hostile 'raids' by large groups of malicious users. While its efficacy in that mission is debated by Discord users, and the service has previously been accused of selling user data for revenue, the fact is that Double Counter can collect and store personal info of the users that visit its 'protected' servers. Info that, now, has been partly or entirely nicked by Internet miscreants.

By Double Counter’s own estimates, around 1 million user email addresses have been affected, with databases of Discord IDs, usernames, IP addresses, and even location info for up to 28 million users also "partly" copied by the hackers. Security breach trackers Have I Been Pwned further report that 275,000 of the pinched emails and usernames have since been posted publicly.

This game is such an absolute mess of design in every possible way. Music is really different from normal video game music, the style and everything is strange, so many of the characters and side missions are just weird as hell, and the RPG mechanics are an arcane abyss. But it all works out well.

If I wasn't already playing other MMOs (and way too many) I'd be all in on this. As it is, I actually really like the game now but even with that I don't think I can justify the cost to myself after this month is over. We'll play it a bunch this month then revisit some time in the future.

This game is focused (and advertised as such) as being a game you're meant to take slow over a long period, even calling it a "third space" as much as a game. And it works well at that! The pace, and the difficulty, also makes for more communication in game. But this comes with a downside.

Stream over, got our big ogre girl up to level 5 and change. Yes it took a 6 hour stream to go up one level. And a few distractions, sure, but thats MnM! However, I think it's happened: I'm actually enjoying this game. It's rough when you die but this game is a nice slow vibe in a pretty world.

Steam is really a disastrous place lately. I keep hearing so many stories about games being falsely flagged as adult only, and other really shit automated systems. It's sad that Steam was (and still is) the best option for a digital storefront by far by sheer fact of every other one having issues.
